Brunel’s Suspension Bridge
It was a warm, sunny, evening in July 2022. I was at the Hotel Du Vin terrace overlooking the gorge and suspension bridge enjoying a pre-meal drink with my wife.
It’s a lovely place to capture some late summer sunsets, but also – what a vista!
The bridge is so commanding in the landscape, that it’s hard to imagine the Avon Gorge without that bridge… so I just had to paint it.
