After the Rain Original

This painting is about the elements of sun, rain and people.

This painting is from a rainy June day in 2025. People rushed inside as the skies dropped an unearthly amount of water onto the terrace, only to get out there as soon as it was safe to do so.

I was drawn by the light and the reflections on the terrace – and the realisation that our species loves sunlight as much as any sunflower does!
