I’ve spent 25 years as a marketeer in the "Attention Economy" - building the machines that track, target, and talk to you.
In doing so I’ve realised something: The world is no longer just being watched; it’s being rendered.

This is the genesis of my new series: The Panopticon.
It’s an exploration of the "Digital Cage." From the betrayal of a shared meal in "The Last Delivery" to the way our history is filtered through TikTok glitches in 1,989 Views, these paintings are my observation of the cage and my hope for our release.
This morning, Bowie’s “Heroes” came on the radio just as I was thinking about a piece about individual defiance. It was a reminder that while the system observes us, it doesn't have to own us. There is a profound difference between being observed and being obedient.

What’s in the series?
Over the next 12 months, I’ll be releasing 12 works that track this shift - from the iconic streets of Tokyo and London to the final, hopeful "Return to the Garden."

You can track the "decryption" of these works on my site.
