Yet again, a really high standard from the artists, the format of the show means getting anything of a high standard in the time frame is remarkable 👏. Here’s what they produced in the allotted time:

The sitters didn’t agree with the judges picks for the shortlist – and I think the sitters are usually a good starting point!
For me, the final three were: Sofia Laskari, Jack Gavin and Minjoo Kim and my winner? Sofia Laskari, but what about you? Which was yours?

Oh sooo hard for me!! I’ve seen all the seasons and first 4 episodes of this season, then youtube took this season down for copywrite reasons. It came down to Sofia & August for me. I picked Sofia by a tiny tiny bit!! I didn’t get to watch the show, or see their self portraits, but I so enjoy seeing all the works together like this! Brilliant idea!! And I love that I can still participate even though I’m not getting to watch my favorite TV show.!! Thank you!!❤️
August Lamm for me as bold enough to do the sitter justice with the full length portrait. I think there were others I admired but there was a strong painterly style to this one as well.
